American University of Integrative Sciences

If you want to practice medicine in the United States or Canada, you should be aware that one of the prerequisites is that your education fits US medical standards. In February 2014, IEMR LLC, a US-based investment firm, purchased the university's assets and records archives. The university's administrative headquarters in Tucker, Georgia, are based in the United States. AUIS offers an allopathic medical curriculum with an evidence-based integrative medicine sub-curriculum that is accredited by the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC), and grants the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree to its graduates. Graduates are qualified for licensing in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The language of instruction is English.

American University of Integrative Sciences first opened its doors in 1999. The Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) confirmed on May 27, 1999 that graduates of the American University of Integrative Sciences were eligible to take the US Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLE). The people of Sint Eustatius, Saba, and Bonaire agreed to dissolve the Netherlands Antilles in 2006, and the Netherlands Antilles was dissolved.
