University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus Barbados

The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus is without a doubt Barbados' best university. Cave Hill Campus is a well-known postsecondary institution in Barbados and a regional and international beacon of academic excellence. This is one of the best universities in Barbados. Following the Mona campus in Jamaica and the St. Augustine campus in Trinidad and Tobago, it was the UWI System's third campus to open. The Open Campus, which is responsible for UWI programs outside of site, has its offices on the Cave Hill campus. Academic programs of the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, are diverse at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Cave Hill is linked with Codrington College, the Caribbean's oldest educational institution, and the School of Education collaborates with Erdiston Teachers' Training College to provide pre-service and in-service training to teachers in Barbados and other parts of the Caribbean. The West Indies Federal Archives Centre has been located on the Cave Hill campus since 2004.

The number of students has climbed to between 7,000 and 9000 every year as a result of rising demand for high-quality education from both local and international students. At both the undergraduate and graduate levels, the university's academic programs are diverse. There are five faculties, each with its own academic departments; different research units and centers; and two graduate institutions with over 250 programs.

The Cave Hill campus of the University of the West Indies is accredited, and you might be interested to know that in 2011, the Cave Hill campus of the University of the West Indies was ranked in the global ranking for masters programs as follows: MSc. Building & Construction Management was named one of the top 100 programs in the world, while MSc. International Management was named one of the top 200 Master's in International Management programs. MSc. Project Management and Evaluation was ranked among the top 200 Master's in Engineering and Project Management programs in the world, as was MSc. Management with Concentrations.
