An-Najah National University

An-Najah National University, ranked second among the best universities in Palestinian Territories, founded in 1977, is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburbs of Nablus (population range of 250,000-499,999 residents), West Bank. Tulkarm is home to a branch campus of this university. An-Najah National University (ANU) is a major (uniRank enrollment range: 20,000-24,999 students) coeducational Palestinian higher education institution that is officially accredited by the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

An-Najah National University (ANU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in a variety of fields, including pre-bachelor degrees (certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, and doctorate degrees.

This 43-year-old Palestinian university has a strict admission criteria based on entrance exams and students' previous academic records and ratings. With an admittance rate of 60-70 percent, this Palestinian higher education institution is considered selective. Students from other countries are welcome to apply.

ANU also provides a library, accommodation, sports facilities, financial aid and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services to students.
