Birzeit University
Birzeit University, ranked first among the best universities in Palestinian Territories, founded in 1975, is a non-profit private higher education institution in the West Bank's medium town of Birzeit (population range of 2,500-9,999 residents). Birzeit University (BZU) is a major (uniRank enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational Palestinian higher education institution that is officially accredited by the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
Birzeit University (BZU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in a variety of fields, including pre-bachelor degrees (certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, and doctorate degrees.
This Palestinian higher-education school, which is 45 years old, has a stringent admission policy based on students' previous academic records and grades. This Palestinian higher education school is somewhat selective, with acceptance rates ranging from 70 to 80 percent. International students are welcome to apply for admission.
BZU also provides a library, sports facilities, financial help and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services to students.
