University College of Applied Sciences

University College of Applied Sciences was founded in 1998 as a non-profit public higher education institution in the urban setting of Gaza City (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 residents), Gaza Strip. University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational Palestinian higher education institution nominally linked with the Islamic religion, as authorized by the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees, including pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), and bachelor degrees in a variety of fields.

This 22-year-old Palestinian university has a strict admission procedure based on students' previous academic records and ratings. This Palestinian higher education school is somewhat selective, with acceptance rates ranging from 70 to 80 percent. International students are welcome to apply for admission.

Students have access to a library, sports facilities, financial aid and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services through UCAS.
