Palestine Technical University Kadoorie
Tulkarem, a prominent town in the West Bank with a population of 10,000 to 49,999 inhabitants, is home to Palestine Technical University Kadoorie, a non-profit public higher-education institution founded in 2007. The Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education has officially authorized Palestine Technical University Kadoorie (PTUK) as a medium-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 6,000-6,999 students) coeducational Palestinian higher education institution.
PTUK offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, and master degrees in a variety of fields.
This Palestinian higher-education school, which is 13 years old, has a stringent admission policy based on students' previous academic records and grades. This Palestinian higher education school is somewhat selective, with acceptance rates ranging from 70 to 80 percent.
