Arba Minch University
Arba Minch University is one of the most famous and also is the eighth-best university in Ethiopia. It is located in Ethiopia's southern region. The University was founded in 1986 as the Arba Minch Water Technology Institute (AWTI), and it is still considered a water technology center of excellence in Eastern Africa.
Arba Minch Institute of Technology, College of Agriculture, College of Business and Economics, College of Natural Sciences, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, and College of Social Sciences and Humanities are all part of Arba Minch University, which was formed in June 2004.
Arba Minch University offers 74 undergraduate programs, 83 graduate degrees, and 13 Ph.D. programs. AMU consists of two institutions, five colleges, and three schools scattered across six campuses: the Main Campus, Abaya Campus, Chamo Campus, Kulfo Campus, Nech Sar Campus, and Sawla Campus.
