Arsenal Football Club
Arsenal Football Club is a professional football club based in Holloway, London, currently competing in the English Premier League, the top level league in the English football system. Arsenal have won 13 league titles, 14 FA Cups (record), 2 League Cups, 1 League Cup of the Century, 16 Super Cups, 1 UEFA Cup and 1 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. Arsenal is the club with the second most wins at the top level in English football history, and also the only English team to date to win the national championship with an undefeated record over 38 rounds. The Invincibles and won the Premier League Gold Cup.
Arsenal became the first club in the South of England to join The Football League in 1893, before starting to compete in the English First Division in 1904. They were relegated only once in 1913 and now Arsenal is the team participating in the highest level of England for the longest period of time. By the 1930s, Arsenal had won five league titles and two FA Cups. After World War II, they won 2 more British national championships and 1 FA Cup. In the 1970–71 season, they won the English league and FA Cup double. Between 1989–2005, they won five more English league titles and five FA Cups, including two doubles. They ended the twentieth century with the highest average ratings.
