Newcastle United Football
Newcastle United Football Club is an English professional football club based in the city of Newcastle in North East England. The club's home ground is St James' Park with a capacity of 52,387 spectators. The club's nickname is The Magpies, and the fans are called Toon Army. Newcastle United's traditional rivals are the two Sunderland clubs, which make up the Tyne-Wear derby and Middlesbrough, which make up the Tyne-Tees derby.
The club has been absent from the Premier League for only three seasons, and have spent 88 seasons in the team's history playing in the top tier. They have also never had to play in the 3rd tier of English football since joining the Football League in 1893.
