Asamiah International School
The mission of Asamiah International School is to cultivate globally-minded students while instilling in them a sense of pride in their nation and cultural heritage. AIS gives students the tools they need to take meaningful, deliberate action, enabling them to face the future with confidence and make positive contributions to both local and global society.
There are about 200 people on the AIS Staff, 110 of whom are teaching staff. The teachers and staff at AIS are skilled and knowledgeable about IB and effective teaching techniques. Asamiah International School sends staff members to local and international training opportunities in addition to providing year-round, on-the-job training for teachers.
Asamiah International School (AIS) is a coeducational, bilingual, IBPYP, IBMYP, and IBDP-authorized school that offers students in grades KG through 5 the IBPYP Curriculum (KG and grades 1-5) as well as the DP for grades 11 and 12.
One class can have two separate language teachers present for the entire day thanks to the AIS Kindergarten bilingual system. In this process, learning English in addition to classical Arabic helps the learners themselves acquire language skills. The school offers a variety of artistic opportunities for students to showcase their talents, including music, drama, and arts and crafts.
Six Units of Inquiry that serve as a framework for investigation and study inform AIS's PYP curriculum. Knowledge, abilities, and essential concepts are employed to investigate the six transdisciplinary themes.
PYP students compile a portfolio drawing from a variety of topics and experiences. The portfolio serves as a record of students' engagement in their education and is made up of a selection of work chosen by both teachers and students. It is intended to show growth, achievement, critical thinking, creativity, evaluation techniques, and introspection.
The MYP program at Asamiah International School divides instruction into eight subject groups:

- Mathematics
- Physical and Health Education
- Performing Art and Visual Art
- Digital Design and Product Design
For students ages 16 to 19, the Diploma Programme (DP) is a two-year pre-university curriculum. Along with the DP core subjects, students complete six subject groups over these two years, including:
- Theory of Knowledge (ToK)
- Extended Essay (EE)
- Creativity-Activity-Service (CAS).
The two categories of the diploma program are diploma courses and diploma programs. The completion of the core subjects (CAS, EE, and ToK) is not mandatory for students enrolled in the Diploma program.
