The International Academy - Amman (IAA) is one of the best international schools in Jordan. It presented a daring and promising mission statement: to cultivate in its students a lifelong love of learning and to equip them with the curiosity, empathy, and self-assurance necessary to become tomorrow's leaders.

Currently, prekindergarten (3 years old) through grade 12 are served by IAA. There are 31 different nationalities in the student body. Every student is supported in a welcoming, international school setting that places a strong emphasis on Jordan's past and present.

IAA's curriculum is made to prepare students for a variety of careers and futures. The Primary School combines subject curricula from several well-known English-speaking countries to provide the best possible overall curriculum.

IAA uses the British National Literacy Programme for English, Australian Mathematics, and the UK's International Primary Curriculum for integrated science, geography, history, music, and art in Grades 1 through 5.

The British National Curriculum for early years programs, known as the "Early Years Foundation Stage" curriculum, is used in the Kindergarten and Pre-K programs. The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program and Diploma Program, two academically demanding programs regarded as among the best in the world, are approved to be offered by the Secondary School.

Additionally, for Arabic-medium courses, International Academy - Amman employs the curriculum from the Jordanian Ministry of Education. Arabic is used extensively in the curricula of Arabic language, religion, and social studies (which are taught alongside social studies in English). As an essential part of IAA's spiritual and cultural identity, the school also observes all Jordanian, Islamic, and Christian holidays.

Graduates of IAA programs are similarly equipped to enroll in English-language university courses in North America, Europe, Oceania, and the Middle East. The Jordan Ministry of Education, the Council of International Schools (CIS), and the New England (United States) Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) have all accredited the school.

Beginning in Grade 11, all secondary students participate in SAT preparation classes. They can also choose to obtain course certificates or the International Baccalaureate Diploma. IAA students not only obtain their Jordanian "Tawjihi" equivalency but also take and do well on SAT Subject tests, which form the foundation of the "SAT" Curriculum.

The International Academy - Amman uses a sophisticated curriculum mapping tool called Rubicon Atlas, which enables staff and parents to examine the whole Pre-K–12 curriculum. This significant accomplishment enables IAA to efficiently optimize student education to guarantee a comprehensive, interconnected, and ideal learning environment for our students.
