Bow Lake

A small lake named Bow Lake can be found in western Alberta, Canada. It is situated at a height of 1920 meters on the Bow River in the Canadian Rockies. The lake is located east of the Waputik Range, west of the Dolomite Pass, and south of the Bow Summit. Views from the lake include the Wapta Icefield, Bow Glacier, Bow Peak, Mount Thompson, Crowfoot Glacier, and Crowfoot Mountain.

The first significant lake you'll encounter in Banff National Park is Bow Lake, and you'll undoubtedly pull over to take in the vivid display as you travel along the Icefields Parkway north from Banff. Some hardy people even think that swimming in the frigid waters here would be a good idea.

The Bow Glacier may be seen in the distance over the azure seas. The Crowfoot Glacier, which is situated on the sides of the same peak, is visible to your left. The Num-Ti-Jah Lodge is a distinctive stone and wood structure with a vivid red roof off to your right. Although the lodging is modest, the location is unbeatable.
