Sylvan Lake
The next position on the list of the most beautiful lakes in Alberta is Sylvan Lake. Central Alberta, Canada has the settlement of Sylvan Lake. It is located along Highway 11 or Highway 11A about 25 kilometers west of the city of Red Deer. It is located along the southeast shore of Sylvan Lake, a 15 kilometer long freshwater lake that sits on the border of Red Deer and Lacombe counties.
Albertans have traditionally made Sylvan Lake their preferred vacation spot. One of Alberta's best lakes for swimming and enjoying warm water is this one. A beach with a length of 1.6 kilometers and a mix of sand and grass may be found in Sylvan Lake Park. Wading is possible in this shallow water.
An area with picnic tables, volleyball courts, and grassy areas is nearby the beach and is perfect for a summer picnic. This park in the center of Sylvan Lake is visited by around a million people annually.
Water sports enthusiasts can have fun at Sylvan Lake as well. There are places to launch a boat or personal watercraft at three marinas. The summery town next to the beach has fast food joints, stores offering beach apparel, and the main street great for people watching.
