Lake Louise

In Alberta, if not the entire nation, Lake Louise in Banff National Park is the most well-known lake. Since 1890, people carrying cameras have traveled to the lake, which is located in a long valley with towering mountains framing the image. Lake Louise is also one of the most beautiful lakes in Alberta.

Surprisingly, the lake is 70 meters deep and two kilometers long. The lake's hue changes during the summer, beginning as a light blue in June and ending as an outstanding turquoise in late August. As the sun moves across the sky throughout the day, it likewise changes color.

From the area in front of Chateau Lake Louise, a short walking path called the Shoreline trail leads down the right side of the lake. In the Lake Louise region, there are several lovely hiking paths that provide a wonderful opportunity to explore the surroundings of the lake. The Lake Agnes Tea House trek, which departs straight from the Shoreline trail, is one of the most well-known hiking routes.

At the boathouse on the lake's left side, you can rent a canoe if you want to venture out on the water. You could also bring your own equipment. It's a quick and simple stroll to get to the lake from the parking lot.
