Lake Minnewanka
Lake Minnewanka is located just up the road from Two Jack Lake. This glacier-fed lake, which is surrounded on three sides by high mountains, is a magnificent sight. The lake is chilly, 21 kilometers long, and 142 meters deep. Taking a boat excursion is a fantastic opportunity to explore the lake to the fullest. These head up the lake toward Alymer Pass and depart from the main dock near the parking area.
Rent a canoe, a kayak, or a boat with a modest motor instead. Launch your boat if you have one, and create your own course. A sizable picnic area is a lovely spot to spend some of the afternoons because it is surrounded by big pine trees.
The Stewart Canyon hiking trail departs from the parking lot area for those seeking a little more physical activity. 1.5 kilometers of the walk follow the shoreline before arriving at an overlook. The trail extends to Aylmer Lookout if you wish to go further and have the energy for a 23.6-kilometer hike.
Mountain bikes are permitted on the Stewart Canyon trail (except from mid-July to mid-September), so keep a watch out for them as they pass by.
