Cheese in the Trap (2016)

The story revolves around Hong Seol (Kim Go-eun), a top student in her university's business department. She returns to school after a semester away. Nobody knows the exact reason for her disappearance, but it has something to do with Yoo Jung (Park Hae-jin). Hong Seol realized the truth about him and, rather than exposing it or succumbing to his veiled threats, she chose to quit school. When she returned, she was surprised to learn that Yoo Jung had treated her better since their last meeting. What's weirder is when she realizes he's been surreptitiously assisting her through his own dubious tactics. As a budding relationship develops between Seol and Jung, they must confront their own flaws and doubts about each other to find happiness.

Nam Joo Hyuk portrays Kwon Eun Taek, Hong Seol's buddy and junior, and her pal Bo-ra (Park Min-ji). In the webtoon, Joo-hyuk’s character is described as a tall and cute college student, who seems a little clumsy and awkward at times but is really a reliable and trustworthy friend. He's also madly in love with Bo-ra. Joo-hyuk was excited to take on this role since he was a fan of the webtoon series that inspired the drama. The show's creator thinks he's the perfect fit for his role since he, like Eun Taek, has numerous attractions.
