Start-Up is a South Korean television series starring Bae Suzy, Nam Joo-hyuk, Kim Seon-ho, and Kang Han-na. The series follows a lady who aspires to be an entrepreneur like Steve Jobs, as well as her love triangle with a man who is secretly her first love and another man who pretends to be her first love. Set in South Korea's imaginary Silicon Valley, Sandbox, Start-Up follows the stories of those working in the startup industry. Seo Dal-mi (Bae Suzy) is a brilliant young woman who aspires to be Korea's Steve Jobs. Dal-mi may not come from a prestigious family, yet she is dedicated to her career. She has a lot of energy and is a very active person, having worked in a variety of part-time occupations.
Samsan Tech was founded by Nam Do-san (Nam Joo-hyuk). A ‘math genius’, or genius savant, as a young boy, Do-san was once the pride of his family but became their shame now, as his business has been going down for the past two years. When he discovers that Dal-mi incorrectly recalls him as her first love, he begins to work his way up in the hopes of making that misperception a reality.
