The Light in Your Eyes (2019)

One of the most anticipated dramas of 2019 was this romantic and fantasy series. Nam Joo-hyuk, for his part, morphed into Lee Joon-ha, an aspiring reporter who could never get a break. He quickly got acquainted with Kim Hye-ja (Han Ji-min), a lady who owns a time-bending watch. As a youngster, Hye-ja discovered the enchanted watch on the beach. But she subsequently discovered an urgent cause to utilize it: to keep her father from dying in a car accident. Turning back time, however, comes with a cost: she will age each time she does so.

Joon-ha became dissatisfied with his family troubles and gave up on his aspirations. He has fallen from favor and now works as a con artist at an aged care facility. He had no idea Hye-ja, who had become an old lady by manipulating time, went to this institution to pass the time. When two former friends re-connect, their lives have completely altered, and they embark on an unusual journey to find strength in each other while coping with their personal challenges and regrets. This event is about learning how to live life with light in your eyes - how to regain it when it's gone, how to keep it going, and how to help others find it.
