Corridor Brewery & Provisions, one of the best breweries and taprooms in Chicago, is a craft spot in West Lakeview neighborhood that located in the center of the Southport Corridor. In the brewery, Head Brewer Brant Dubovick’s focus is on farmhouse ales and hop-forward beers. His inspiration for Corridor’s beer program stems from rustic farmhouse breweries, as well as hop forward American trailblazers. When Corridor Brewery & Provisions opened in West Lakeview in 2015 it was a welcome addition to the ever-changing Southport Corridor and has been a favorite watering hole since. The seasonal house-brewed beers are made on-site, with 12 tanks displayed behind the bar that are not just for show.
The bar offers six beers on draft, which are also available in 32 ounce cans and 64 ounce growlers. The kitchen's focus is on simple but delicious and locally sourced food meant to pair with the wonderful beer being brewed under the same roof. The midwestern food highlights sandwiches and artisan pizzas baked in a clay hearth oven and other artisan provisions.
When you are looking for some distance from the Wrigleyville crowds to celebrate a Cub’s win, this is one of go-to destinations. Corridor features bar seating, larger booths in the back that are ideal for groups, and an outdoor space along Southport Avenue.
