Launched in Pilsen, Chicago in 2014 by Brewmaster Jared Rouben, Moody Tongue Brewing Company creates thoughtful, carefully crafted beers that blend familiar flavors with quality ingredients through the philosophy of culinary brewing: using a chef’s mindset to highlight flavors and aromatics in balanced beers.


Two distinctive experiences await at Moody Tongue Brewing Company – the first two Michelin-starred brewery in the world. Functioning as both a comfortable tasting room and casually-focused venue featuring a la carte menu items by Executive Chef Jared Wentworth, The Bar showcases Brewmaster Jared Rouben’s collection of perennial beers alongside a number of limited release offerings from specialty beer programs such as the brewery’s whiskey, wine barrel-aging program, and the renowned rotating Farmers Market Series as well as Sour Series offerings.


Within The Dining Room, an intimate 28-seat fine dining restaurant helmed by ten-time Michelin-starred Executive Chef Jared Wentworth, guests are treated to a hyper-seasonal, refined 12-course tasting menu alongside specialty beer pairings curated by Brewmaster Jared Rouben. The food-friendly beers runneth over in both spaces, with popular pours like Sliced Nectarine IPA and Steeped Emperor’s Lemon Saison, as well as more experimental brews like the Scotch Barrel Aged Peated Scotch Ale.
