Revolution Brewing
The Revolution Brewing Company, located on North Kedzie Avenue, is one of Illinois' largest breweries. This brewery, which opened in 2010, produces more than 20 different types of craft beers. This brewery, sourced from all over the city, has won numerous awards since its inception. Josh Deth, the brewery's owner and operator, has won Best Craft Brewery 2014 by Chicago Magazine, a Gold Medal in the 2012 Beer World Cup, and a Gold Medal in the 2014 Great Japan Beer Festival. Not only does Revolution Brewery feature delicious craft beers, such as the famous Anti-Hero IPA, the restaurant also prides itself on serving great food to partner with the beer. The Avondale warehouse usually has some of the freshest Revolution beer on tap and also offers cans and growlers to go, if you want to bring some crisp Anti-Hero IPA home. Head Chef Charlie Eure runs the kitchen that makes delicious hand-crafted items including housemade charcuterie and homemade bread.
