Half Acre Beer Company
Founded in Chicago in 2006, Half Acre Beer Company focuses on brewing classic American micro styles and mixed fermentation concoctions. Thanks to its early popularity, Half Acre expanded into a tap room adjacent to the brewhouse in 2012 and was named one of Chicago's best bars soon after.
A kitchen was added in 2016, transforming the modest brewery to a full-service brew pub everyone could enjoy. Half Acre Beer Company produces three year-round brews as well as seasonal beers. Core beers include the Pony Pilsner, with its bright lager aromatics and malt chewiness; Daisy Cutter Pale Ale with hints of pine, mango and papaya; and Tuna Extra Pale Ale, a denser-bodied sweet beer with tropical fruit flavors.
Seasonal selections include Vellejo IPA, Deep Space Double IPA, GoneAway IPA, Navaja Double IPA and LeadFeather Black Ale.
