Dead by Daylight

Behaviour Interactive's Dead by Daylight is a survival horror asymmetric multiplayer online game. It is a one-versus-four game in which one player plays as a savage killer and the other four as survivors; the killer must catch each survivor and impale them on hooks to sacrifice them to a malevolent force known as the Entity, while the survivors must avoid being caught and fix five generators to open the exit gates. The game was initially launched in June 2016 for Microsoft Windows, with subsequent versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One following in June 2017, Nintendo Switch in September 2019, iOS and Android in April 2020, and Stadia in October 2020.

Dead by Daylight, developed by Behavior Interactive as an asymmetric multiplayer survival horror game, has a loyal following of players captivated by the unusually stressful feeling of being hunted by a merciless killer played by a real person. It's a five-person game in which four of the players are survivors attempting to flee the final player, the murderer. The murderer is attempting to capture and sacrifice all survivors to an enigmatic Entity, while the survivors strive to activate generators that would allow them to escape the killer's hunting grounds. Since its first release, the game has constantly expanded, with new murderers and survivors appearing from classic horror series such as Saw, Evil Dead, and Stranger Things.
