Layers of Fear: Legacy

Layers of Fear is a psychological horror video game published by Aspyr and created by Bloober Team. In February 2016, it was published globally on Linux, Microsoft Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. In Layers of Fear, the player takes control of a psychologically unstable painter as he navigates a Victorian estate, learning mysteries about his history. The first-person perspective gameplay is story-driven and centered around puzzle-solving and exploration. Layers of Fear: Inheritance was launched as a direct sequel to the previous game on August 2, 2016. The player takes control of the painter's daughter this time, with the extra material focused on her apparent relapse into trauma after returning to her former abode.

Layers of Fear: Legacy, a final version for the Nintendo Switch, was published on February 21, 2018, and it includes, in addition to the Inheritance DLC, Joy-Con, touchscreen, and HD Rumble compatibility. Limited physical retail releases for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 would be available in North America beginning in October 2018. Layers of Fear 2 was announced in October 2018 and will be published on May 29, 2019.
