Dei Frati

In the charming city of Brașov, Dei Frati is the home of excellent homemade pasta. From their training adventure in the mother land of pasta and pizza, the two enthusiastic brothers (and proprietors) have brought the best Italian cuisine here.

But these aren't the only delectable dishes that stand out from the rest of the Italian menu: antipasti, risotto, and tiramisu round out the Mediterranean experience with lingering aromas.

Like the Napar brothers, a skillful cook allows his hands direct the amount of ingredients for the recipe and dough texture. The best tortellini they've ever had, fettuccine with spinach and shrimp, the best carbonara outside of Italy, gorgonzola ravioli with pear butter and sage, and, last but not least, Monte Cimone, a special dessert, are all recommended by our reviewers.

Seafood, Italian, Mediterranean, European, Tuscan, and Central Italian cuisine are all available at Dei Frati. Of course, it's vegetarian-friendly, with vegan and gluten-free options available. Good service adds to the nice environment, and because it is tiny and popular, reservations are recommended.

This "piece of Italy," as some clients describe it, is tastefully designed with wood and stone, and the bathroom is quite spectacular!
