Dicey Dungeons

Dicey Dungeons is a deck-building game that blends features of roguelike games. Lady Luck challenges adventurers who have been transformed into dice to finish a dungeon with a fairly unlikely chance of regaining their freedom. The player chooses one of six characters, which determines the sort of equipment with which they begin. The user then maneuvers their character across a dungeon map, encountering creatures, treasure boxes, health supplies, stores, and upgrade stations, as well as exits to the next level.

Each run's purpose is to reach the dungeon's lowest level and fight the boss. This allows metagame advancement, such as new characters or new episodes for current characters that bring new rulesets that make runs more challenging. If the player-health characters reach zero, the game is ended and the player must restart again. If the adversary's health reaches zero, the enemy is beaten, and the player-character wins, collecting in-game monetary awards and character experience, as well as other potential benefits. Gaining levels grants the player-character greater total health as well as an additional die roll. Outside of combat, the player may also get new items to equip on their character. Level shops can be used to purchase new equipment, exchange equipment, or access additional features.
