Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a turn-based strategy adventure game for the Nintendo Switch video game system developed by Ubisoft Milan and released by Ubisoft and Nintendo. The game is a collaboration between Nintendo's Mario and Ubisoft's Raving Rabbids series. The plot of Kingdom Battle follows Mario, his pals, and a gang of Rabbids as they struggle to preserve the Mushroom Kingdom from invading Rabbids who have mistakenly mishandled a powerful invention and are wreaking havoc.

Ubisoft Milan creative director Davide Soliani and Ubisoft brand producer Xavier Manzanares created Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle in 2014. The design goals were to emphasize the dissonance of both franchises and to create a strategy game with distinct aspects. As a result, its visual features and animation were created to be casual and bright, and its soundtrack was composed by Grant Kirkhope, a well-known video game composer. Although the game had a negative reaction when it was first leaked, owing mostly to its usage of the Rabbids franchise and weapons, it was praised when it was formally presented at E3 2017.
