Pikmin 3 Deluxe

Pikmin 3 is a real-time strategy and puzzle video game that Nintendo developed and released for the Wii U video game platform. It is the sequel to the GameCube titles Pikmin (2001) and Pikmin 2 (2004), and it was published on July 13, 2013, in Japan, and the following month in the rest of the world. Shigeru Miyamoto announced Pikmin 3 for the Wii system on July 16, 2008, subsequently confirming at E3 2011 that it has shifted to the Wii U.

It expands on the Pikmin franchise by adding new player characters, Pikmin kinds, Off-TV Play, and downloadable content. The player controls three alien captains as they explore the surface of a planet named PNF-404 in quest of cultivable fruit seeds to save their home planet, Koppai, from starvation. They become friends with the Pikmin, who help them with battle, puzzle-solving, and resource gathering. Critics gave Pikmin 3 largely good reviews, praising the gameplay, visuals, and level design. Pikmin 3 Deluxe is an upgraded version for the Nintendo Switch that will be available on October 30, 2020. Hey! Pikmin is a standalone sequel for the Nintendo 3DS that was published in July 2017.
