Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition

As with Divinity: Original Sin, players can play alone or in groups of up to three. The player can choose from a variety of pre-made characters with backstories. At the start of the game, players may also create a new character and choose their attributes, race, gender, and origin story. Unlike the original game, players may also build an undead character from one of the various races. They can enlist up to three friends to help them, however, there are modifications available on the Steam Workshop that boost the maximum number of party partners. All companions are fully playable and may interact with the environment and NPCs differently than the player character.

Players can divide and manage their party members independently, allowing for potentially complicated battle strategies and role-playing options. The game includes competitive and cooperative online and local multiplayer modes. A skill crafting system enables players to mix and match skills. The game also has a competitive multiplayer mode in which players are separated into two teams and compete on an arena map.
