Finding Nemo
The 2003 American adventure film Finding Nemo was created by Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. The screenplay was written by Stanton, Bob Peterson, and David Reynolds from a scenario by Stanton. Lee Unkrich served as co-director. Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Alexander Gould, Willem Dafoe, and Geoffrey Rush provide the voices for the movie. It portrays the tale of an overprotective clownfish named Marlin who looks for his lost kid Nemo alongside Dory, a regal blue tang. Marlin gains risk-taking skills along the way, and he also adjusts to the idea that Nemo can take care of himself.
Finding Nemo, which debuted on May 30, 2003, garnered a great deal of praise from critics, who commended the film's visual aspects, storyline, and characters that were thought to be amusing by both young moviegoers and their parents. At the time of its debut, it was the highest-grossing animated movie ever, and by the end of its initial theatrical run, it had amassed $871 million worldwide, making it the second-highest-grossing movie of 2003. The movie received three Academy Award nominations in total, and it won one for Best Animated Feature, making it the first Pixar production to do so.
