Island of Ven
Our list of the most beautiful islands in Sweden, of course, cannot overlook Island of Ven. This small and beautiful island in Sweden is a nature reserve filled with wheat fields and wildflowers. The fantastic sea view from the coast of the Island of Ven is truly breathtaking.
Legend has it that this small island between Landskrona and Denmark was formed when a giant dropped a lump of earth into the sea. Today, Ven is known for its stunning cliffs that jut into the sea, white beaches, quaint cottages, cozy cafes, and fun hills for biking. The iconic yellow bicycles for hire are a signature of Ven and are the best way to explore this beautiful island.
You can visit the Tycho Brahe Museum's observatory, enjoy a voice and light show, and visit the Medieval Church of St. Ibb on this beautiful island. The highest number of inhabitants on the island was 1300 in the 1930s.
