Kalipso Waterfall

Kalipso Waterfall, regarded as one of the top canyoning locations in Greece, is a hidden treasure. It is advisable to travel with someone who is familiar with the area since else you risk getting lost. It is close to Kokkino Nero, a coastal community renowned for its dense forest canopy.

You'll realize how lovely and soothing the sound of the water falling is once you approach the waterfall. Beautiful reflections of enormous rock formations can be seen in the river's crystal-clear water. The ideal time to avoid going here is during the summer, when it can be very steamy to hike and the river can be a little dry. According to locals, there is another mini waterfall that you can examine right below the main waterfall. It is advisable to visit this lovely waterfall between September and October if you choose to do so.
