Polilimnio Waterfalls
Polilimnio waterfalls are situated in the Peloponnese region of Messene contains the Polylimnio valley. The word "polilimnio" means "many lakes" in Greek, and that is exactly what you will find there. There are 15 tiny, freshwater "secret" lakes with odd names like Mavrolimna, Kadi, Kadoula (called for its heart-shaped shape), Lucky's, Italian's, Panagos's, and Stathoula's. One of Messene's undiscovered beauties is Polilimnio, which is frequently called a paradise on earth.
You will arrive at a hidden paradise with little lakes formed by magnificent waterfalls, surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards, after taking a short trail and passing through lush flora and charming wooden bridges. About three kilometers make up the trekking route. The largest waterfalls, which plunge from a height of 25 meters, are found in Kadi Lake.
For those who are more daring, cliff diving from the nearby rocks into the deep depths of the lake is an option in addition to the waterfall's unique experience. After the hike, the cool, fresh alpine water of the lake feels like the ideal reward.
