Nydri Waterfalls

Nydri waterfalls, situated on the outskirts of Nydri, in the eastern part of Lefkada island, are also known as the Dimossari waterfalls. Therefore, if you want to reach there, take the Nydri road. The Nydri ring road may be seen on your right before you enter the city center. Following that road will lead you to a sign on your right that directs you to the waterfalls after some time.

There are two routes to get to the twin waterfalls: via walking from the settlement of Theodoriana, which is 1,000 meters above sea level. It will take just over 30 minutes to complete the journey. Alternatively, you can use a dirt road to travel further and get closer to the waterfalls. You will then need to follow a 10-minute path from there.

Under the waterfall, there is a natural swimming pool with vibrant blue-green water, making this location ideal for swimming as well. Bring your swimsuit on a hot summer day and enjoy a refreshing dip beneath the magnificence of nature, but be aware that the water is extremely cold.
