Neda Waterfalls
One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Greece is the Neda waterfall. In west Greece, close to Figalia (to the east of Giannitsochori), is where you may find this lovely waterfall.
The only female river in Greece with the name of Neda serves as the inspiration for the renowned Neda waterfalls in Kyparissia of the Peloponnese. It is situated in a canyon of exceptional natural beauty and attraction for those who adore the outdoors and want to combine nature with some activity, such as hiking or swimming in the river's cool waters.
There are a variety of trails around, from easier ones for leisurely strolling to some off-the-beaten-path routes for more experienced and daring guests. You can also take a neighboring climb to the Temple of Epicurean Apollo Bassae, a massive Doric-style structure with significant historical significance. After a strenuous climb, relaxing in the turquoise, crystal-clear waters of the pool close to the waterfalls is undoubtedly rewarding.
