Lake Rabun
One of the most beautiful lakes in Georgia is Lake Rabun. With 25 miles of secluded beachfront, Lake Rabun is a family-friendly vacation spot hidden in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lake Rabun, commonly known as "The Land of Enchantment," is renowned for its timeless beauty and clear waters. It is encircled by some of the oldest mountains in the world. Visitors to the lake are welcome to go swimming, boating, fishing in the beautiful waters, hiking the neighboring paths, and seeing the nearby waterfalls.
The historic Lake Rabun Hotel and Restaurant, which is located directly across from the lake and marina, is also open to visitors. The hotel, which Southern Living named "one of the best small stays in the state," is a local favorite for its gracious service, attractive atmosphere, and highly regarded farm-to-table restaurant and bar.
In addition, the Lake Rabun Hotel provides free concierge services to help visitors reserve boats or on-the-water activities like fly fishing and whitewater rafting. Or, if visitors would rather, they can take a hiking or ATV excursion to explore the natural mountain laurel, rhododendron, and fern paths.
