Seed Lake
The 0.97 km2 reservoir known as Seed Lake has a shoreline of 21 km and is situated in Rabun County in the northeastern part of Georgia. This lake is the second in a chain of six lakes that follow the course of the ancient Tallulah River. Georgia Power-operated hydroelectric dams build each lake in the series. Between Lake Burton, the series' northernmost lake, and Lake Rabun, is Lake Seed. Lake Tallulah Falls, Lake Tugalo, and Lake Yonah are located after Lake Rabun. Seed Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Georgia
The reservoir is 240 acres in size and has 13 kilometers of stunning shoreline. Despite the lake's small size, it offers countless chances for pleasure. Fish that are commonly caught here include spotted bass, yellow perch, white catfish, and redear sunfish. It's a great place for fishing. If you're looking for trout and walleye, the lake is also ideal. Swimming, boating, fishing, and camping are some popular activities in Seed Lake in addition to fishing. In the deep forest that envelops the lake, hiking and wildlife viewing are additional alternatives. Additionally, for those who want to remain overnight, there are campgrounds, a few cabins, and lakeside rentals.
