Mindfulness in Integrative Healthcare Offered By University of Minnesota
You will be able to determine when mindfulness might be beneficial for your patients or clients, educate them about its potential advantages, and recommend them to mindfulness programs and resources by the end of this course. To begin, you'll learn about mindfulness (and what it isn't) through presentations and hands-on practice. You'll also learn about the data that backs up the benefits (and risks) of mindfulness for a variety of ailments, as well as how to spot contraindications. Finally, as a busy healthcare provider, you will learn about the advantages of this practice.
This course is meant to meet the Minnesota Board of Nursing's continuing education requirements for 10 contact hours, and it may also qualify for CE credit from other professional boards that allow self-documentation of continuing education activities.
