Mount Heha
Mount Heha, Burundi's highest peak, is part of the Burundi Highlands mountain range. The mountain is popular for trekking, and at 2,864 meters, it provides a fair challenge for climbers. The mountain is quite close to Bujumbura, making it the most practical place to utilize as a base before beginning the ascent.
On the lower slopes of Mount Heha, there are opportunities for hiking and horseback riding. This is a secure location. To get there, all you have to do is hire a driver/guide from Bujumbura. To climb to the top, you need at least about 30 minutes and should be careful.
