National University of Uzbekistan
The National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek is the country's earliest and most important higher education institution, serving both Uzbekistan and Central Asia. For almost a century, the University has contributed to society by training highly trained individuals in a variety of fields of business, as well as being at the forefront of scientific achievement.
In the field of science, establishing a scientific school is a difficult and prestigious task. The scientists of Uzbekistan's National University have followed the heritage of famous intellectuals like Musa Khorazmiy, Abu Raykhan Beruniy, Abu Ali Ibn Sino, and Mirzo Ulugbek on this problem. More than 50 scientific schools throughout the world have been acknowledged. Khabib Abdullaev, Obid Sodikov, Sadi Sirojiddinov, Tashmukhammad Sarimsakov, Jura Musaev, Makhmud Salohiddinov, Shavkat Alimov, and Azimbay Sadullaev are among those who built schools.
NUUz have been interacting with more than 100 higher educational institutions of industrialized nations. Among them are M.V.Lomonosov Moscow State University, Seoul National University, and California State University. Students from all over the nation have the option to reside in contemporary dorms in Yoshlik's little village, where they may also develop their intellectual level and participate in sports.
