National Zoological Park Delhi


The National Zoological Park (originally Delhi Zoo) is a 176-acre (71-hectare) zoo in New Delhi, India. A 16th-century citadel, expansive green island, and a colorful collection of animals and birds are all in the heart of the rapidly expanding city of Delhi.

The National Zoological Park
has over 1,350 animals representing nearly 130 species of animals and birds from all over the world. The zoo can be viewed on foot or as a battery-powered vehicle that can be rented from the zoo. Visitors are not allowed to bring anything other than drinking water, but the zoo does have a restaurant.
