Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park, India

Opened in 1987, Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park is actually targeting record books. At 5,532 acres in the Indian pilgrimage city of Tirupati, Asia's largest zoo. It is also officially listed in the Guinness Book of Records for breeding the world's largest leopard, weighing 143 kg!


Shri Venkateswara is committed to environmental initiatives including education, rescue and rehabilitation, and training programs. A zoo safari in a cage car is a testament to their dedication to their natural habitat, where the welfare of wild animals is a top priority. Main exhibits range from peacocks and parrots to samba deer, white tigers, and important animals from Hindu mythology.
