NCsoft
South Korean video game developer and publisher NCSoft Corporation is based in Pangyo, Seongnam, South Korea, and is best known for publishing massively multiplayer online role-playing games like Lineage and Guild Wars.
Kim Taek Jin established NCSoft in March 1997. Lineage, NCSoft's first game, was released in September 1998. After acquiring Destination Games in April 2001, led by Richard Garriott and Robert Garriott, the business established a US subsidiary known as NC Interactive (headquartered in Austin, Texas; later renamed NCSoft West). Lineage II and NCSoft's other MMORPG, City of Heroes, both debuted that year.
In July 2004, NCSoft established a European headquarters in Brighton, England, as a wholly owned subsidiary known as NCSoft Europe. On February 4, 2005, they launched City of Heroes in numerous European countries, and they've subsequently delivered WildStar and Blade & Soul to the continent as well.
