New England Culinary Institute
The New England Culinary Institute, located in the state capital of Vermont, has produced some prominent culinary pioneers, including the creators of the ice cream company Ben & Jerry. In addition to residency on campus, the degrees provided entail a paid internship for a set period of time. Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, and Hospitality and Restaurant Management are all available as associate degrees. Culinary Arts and Hospitality and Restaurant Management both provide bachelor's degrees. Professional Cooking, Baking, and Pastry Certificates are available.
Students can choose a specialty to supplement their degree, where they will study sourcing local goods, being environmentally conscious.
