Paco Park: Relax Around

This park is known for its lush greenery and is one of the best places to visit if you're looking for peace and quiet. The park was formerly known as Cementerio General de Dilao when it was a Dominican cemetery built during the Spanish colonial period. The park is not only a popular destination for locals and tourists, but it also has significant historical significance.

Paco Park
is surrounded by trees, so if you visit in the middle of the day when the sun's summer heat is at its peak, you'll appreciate the park more than at any other time of day. The cool and relaxing atmosphere is very natural, as if you're in the middle of a forest.

Furthermore, the chirpings of the park's birds are soothing to the ears. While walking around exploring or sitting on the bench simply enjoying the stillness, the sound feels like a dose of therapy to the souls. Isn't it incredible? This is the kind of scenery you would never see outside the walls of Manila unless you drove outside the city limits and up into the mountains. Paco Park is one of the best-preserved historical and architectural sites in the country. You can't help but admire the St. Pancratius Chapel, a one-of-a-kind work of art rendered on a single eye-catching structure.
