Party Like a Rockstar

The American hip-hop group Shop Boyz has a song called Party Like a Rockstar. It served as both the lead single from their debut album, Rockstar Mentality, and their commercial debut single (2007). Specifically in the United States, it experienced enormous success throughout the summer of 2007, peaking in the top five of the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Hot Rap Tracks, and Hot 100 charts. At the 50th Grammy Awards, the song was up for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.

According to Radio & Records, "Party Like a Rockstar" briefly held the title of most-played rap and rhythmic song in the country. The song was added to the B-List on BBC Radio 1's playlist and received exposure internationally, too.

Jason "Pit" Pittman created the rap rock tune. A number of notable rock musicians are mentioned in the song's lyrics, including Marilyn Manson, The Osbournes, Kiss, Queen, Bruce Springsteen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Travis Barker.
