The British singer Lauren Bennett and the American music producer GoonRock are featured on the LMFAO song Party Rock Anthem. In 2011, it was made available as the lead single from their second album, Sorry for Party Rocking.

In Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, the song reached number one by the end of the summer of 2011. In addition, Finland, Italy, Norway, Poland, and Sweden all ranked in the top five. In Australia, it has sold the most copies of any single in history. With sales of 9.7 million copies, it was the third-best-selling digital single globally in 2011. In US history, it is the third-best-selling digital music.


According to Billboard, Party Rock Anthem is currently the sixth-most popular song of all time. With more than 2 billion views, it is currently among the top 100 most watched videos on YouTube.

The majority of the music in "Party Rock Anthem" is electronic. The movie earned the MTV Movie Award for Best Music when it was used in the 2012 movie 21 Jump Street. [6] At the 2012 Kids' Choice Awards, the song also took home the "Favorite Song" trophy.
