American singer Kesha's first solo single is titled Tik Tok. This song is considered to be one of the best party songs of all time. The song's producers Dr. Luke and Benny Blanco, as well as she, co-wrote it. It was made available as the first single from Animal, Kesha's debut studio album, on August 7, 2009. The first lyric of the song was inspired by a dream Kesha had in which she woke up surrounded by gorgeous women and envisioned P. Diddy being in a similar situation. The song was written as a result of the event and given to Dr. Luke, her producer, who was subsequently contacted by P. Diddy in an effort to collaborate. He arrived at the recording studio that day and recorded his lines, and the song was then finished.
