Red Cargo Rice
Similar to brown rice, this long-grain Thai rice is processed to remove the outer husks while keeping the bran layers. Red Cargo rice has a nutty flavor, is reddish-brown in appearance, and is packed with nutrients. It is a great rice substitute for meat, fish, and curries. It also performs well in salads and stir-fries. Rice requires more time to cook than other varieties of rice, and its texture is significantly chewier.
