Red Rooster, located in the heart of Overtown, serves comfort food that honors the roots of American cuisine as well as the diverse culinary traditions of the neighborhood. Chef Marcus Samuelsson's first Miami restaurant is a sensory overload. The restaurant's collection, curated by Derek Fleming and David Simkins, features conversation-starting works that embody "the excellence in the African-American experience". The menu is heavy on Southern comfort food, the music is always upbeat, and there's art everywhere you look. Lunch, dinner, and brunch are the three options on the menu.
